Project Description: This project involved the complete design of Tiketa, a trip scheduling and booking web platform aimed at providing users with a seamless and enjoyable travel planning journey. The goal was to design an intuitive and responsive interface that combines functionality with a sense of adventure and exploration.
The project began with a deep dive into user behavior, analyzing how travelers browse, plan, and book their trips. The design approach focused on clarity, simplicity, and visual storytelling, using engaging imagery and clean layouts to make browsing and booking effortless. The final design offered a smooth booking flow, clear categorization of destinations, and smart filters, giving users control and confidence while planning their trips.
Process:
The process started with research and user journey mapping to identify common challenges faced by travelers in online booking systems. Based on the insights, I developed wireframes and prototypes that mapped out each step—from searching destinations to finalizing a booking.
Next, I refined the interface with interactive components, calendar-based scheduling, and integrated payment flow, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices. The design featured soft visuals, travel-inspired illustrations, and intuitive navigation, bringing together practicality and aesthetic appeal.
Struggles:
The key challenge was ensuring a smooth and efficient booking flow while maintaining a visually engaging design. Balancing multiple features like trip scheduling, price comparison, and secure payment options required thoughtful UX decisions. Additionally, designing a layout that remained light, responsive, and accessible across devices took several iterations to perfect the overall experience.
